Go-Ride
The club caters for younger riders with its โGo-Rideโ sessions – part of British Cyclingโs development programme for young cyclists. The sessions provide a safe and fun way to improve bike handling skills and introduce young riders to the exciting world of cycle sport. Go Ride is run by a dedicated group of British Cycling qualified coaches (all DBS checked) at a quiet off road location, so there really isnโt a better way for your child to improve, no matter what standard they currently ride at. Go Ride sessions are run on Saturday mornings for several six week blocks, throughout the year.
Children and young people are also welcome on all club group rides where they are fit enough to keep up with the group. Parents of children under fourteen are required to accompany their children until the child has demonstrated the ability and maturity to ride independently.

Youth Development Funding
As a club we want to make funds available for Youth development in Cycling. The funds are not set at a particular limit and there is no rigorous selection process. The fund will be offered to individuals that particularly stand out, or you are more than welcome to approach the club should you feel the fund is relevant.
The aim will be to cover entry fees or travel costs for junior members to attend Races and events and ultimately help them progress there Development within cycling.
Upon being awarded funding we will set an annual grant and the recipient will then supply receipts as and when received throughout the year until the ceiling of the grant is reached, the grant will not automatically renew but may well be awarded again to the same recipients. We would ask that recipients compete as NCCC members and wear team kit whilst competing.
If the fund is of interest then please contact Andrew Bray or Jeremy Griffiths on the via our Contact Us page.
