As well as regular weekend group rides throughout the year, NCCC organises further special annual cycling events, including the 4 Shires Sportive, Reliability Ride, Grand Tour Sundays, and of course our Annual Dinner.
The Richard Milner Annual Reliability ride

The 4 Shires Sportive
The 4 Shires Sportive is a CFC event managed and run by The North Cotswold Cycle Club and is now settled into its new home in June. Some say it is the most challenging and scenic road cycling event in the Cotswolds.
A choice of 100mile, 75mile and 50 mile routes climb through the Cotswolds four shires of Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. The event offers routes for all abilities and is for riders looking for an enjoyable yet challenging, well supported sportive taking in testing climbs, quiet country lanes and sweeping vistas
A well supported event with timing chips, plentiful food stops, good signage and much needed food and refreshment upon your return.

Grand Tour Sundays
Our Grand Tour Sundays are already legendary after their first year! As a club we celebrate the three Grand tours of the year by choosing one Sunday during each of the races The Giro, The Tour and the Vuelta. On the chosen Sunday the club returns to Cotswold cycles to immerse ourselves in the food and culture of the country in question! The events bring out many of our club members and with the added bonus of a King of the mountains competition within each group it makes for a very enjoyable day for members and their families. Dates will be announced nearer the time.
The Annual diner is held in January and is open to all members. The date differs, but we meet on a Saturday in January to have drinks and dinner, review the year that has gone, and celebrate the best of the club by awarding trophies. The Club currently awards four trophies:
- Crash of the Year – Currently held by Andrew Milner
- Club person of the Year – Currently held by Sharon Warwick
- Women’s Trophy – Currently held by Aimee Lane
- Richard Milner memorial Cup – Currently held by Ana Orenz
The dates and details will be published nearer the time.
